Guest guest
I have my Reikki 1 and have been meditating twice a day for months (for years but not regularly) and hope to find a Kundalini yoga class I can attend in Toronto soon. I had a dream a few nights ago and believe it was actually a sort of out of body experience. I was in a dark place, (thinking about it later I believe it to be the underworld) and had to cross a river. I was with someone else (not sure who) and as I went to cross the river snakes, thousands of snakes appeared everywhere. They slid up my body and bit into me; I could really feel the burning and pain as their venom flowed into me. I tried one by one to pull their fangs out of my legs and body until the other person handed me some sort of powder to throw on them. It only worked for some. I still had them all over me. Then I realized I had some in my vagina. I pulled them out one by one and they totalled seven. I'm wondering now whether this is some sort of an intuitive " sign " that following the kundalini path is one I'm supposed to follow. Wondering if anyone else has had similar dreams. Guest guest
Dear Susanne: I haven't had dreams about snakes or Kundalini experiences. That's a fascinating dream. I am curious what the feeling was all along. I find that dreams' meanings are often in how they make one feel. Snakes are what we represent that Kundalini energy with... 1,000 of snakes gives the impression that there is no escaping them... that energy is infinite. Trying to kill them to no avail... They enter you.... that's the only way! That energy has to penetrate you deep within... You have to feel it to allow it to move through you... It's a dream about Life. Not just Kundalini. I have the feeling it is about opening up about the multitude of experiences Life offers you. This dream is simply showing you that no matter what you choose to do, there is no escaping it! Blessings, Awtar Singh
Guest guest
Sat Nam Susanne, I believe your dream was telling you the following: The snakes biting into you and it hurting - sometimes when we do meditation it can open us up to all sorts of things that we are maybe not ready for or don't understand. Pulling the snakes from inside of you and there were 7 - as you are probably aware, we have 7 chakras. These maybe need to be balanced and worked on. With Kundalini yoga, it is by far the safest way of raising your kundalini and balancing your chakras and lots more besides. With the kriyas that are used in kundalini yoga, when followed as they should be, they subtly work on our being and only open us up when we are ready. Your subconcious is probabably telling you that Kundalini yoga is the right thing for you to do. Blessings in your spiritual journey. Love and light . Guest guest
Sat Nam, Susanne, I will share with you a dream that was shared with me from a dear friend who practices KY. I met her at summer solstice 2 years ago. She had a dream shortly after beginning KY of a serpent biting her on her neck, it was very painful. However, when she woke from the dream, the many years of pain she had been experiencing in her body had disappeared. Many blessings to you, Padmani Kaur Phoenix, AZ > " yogahs " <kundalini_yoga >Kundaliniyoga >Kundaliniyoga >Kundalini Yoga Re: Dreaming of Kundalini >Sat, 11 Aug 2007 02:03:20 -0000 > >Dear Susanne: > >I haven't had dreams about snakes or Kundalini experiences. > >That's a fascinating dream.
