Guest guest
Sat Nam,Just tiny little question, regarding this worldwide simultaneous meditation.3HO eNewsletter on Wed, 15 Aug 2007 12:12:58 -0600– Global Meditations states the time as: , beginning at 3:00 AM Pacific Daylight Savings Time Hacienda de Guru Ram Das New Mexico will celebrate with a special morning Sadhana starting at 3:40 a.m.and you say - Here on the east coast we will be starting at 3:30 am. To have a worldwide simultaneous meditation, 3 different times are now listed.I live on the West Coast, my 3:00 am PDS, is an hour behind New Mexico and 3 hours behind the East Coast.SO WHEN ARE WE STARTING and from what part of the country? If it is the East Coast, I need to make a 3 hour adjustment. Guest guest
For clarification-the portion of the morning meditation that is done simultaneously worldwide is the 11 minutes of chanting to Guru Ram Das. We may be doing 2.5 hours of long chant (long ekongkars) beginning at 3:30am in Millis (Boston,) but in L.A. they may not be doing the same at 12:30am but likely at 3am they will be chanting to Guru Ram Das for 11 minutes, possibly before their morning sadhana of 2.5 hours of long ekongkars. Guest guest
Sat Nam.....Ok here it goes. The simultaneous 11 minute worldwide meditation of Guru Ram das chant will start in New Mexico at 4:00AM. That's 3:00AM PST time; 5:00 central; 6:00AM EST; For those of you in other countries, your time should correspond to the 4:00AM New Mexico time. Is this correct 3HO? If not please correct and clarify. As for the 2 1/2 hours of morning call, to my knowledge studios and groups are doing it at a time that's convenient for them and it varies. thanks Tej Kundalini-Yoga , " Sat Avtar Kaur " <myralorey wrote: > > Sat Nam, > > Just tiny little question, regarding this worldwide simultaneous > meditation. > > 3HO eNewsletter on Wed, 15 Aug 2007 12:12:58 -0600 > – Global Meditations states the time as: , > beginning at 3:00 AM Pacific Daylight Savings Time > > Hacienda de Guru Ram Das New Mexico will celebrate with a special > morning Sadhana starting at 3:40 a.m. > > and you say - Here on the east coast we will be starting at 3:30 am. > > To have a worldwide simultaneous meditation, 3 different times are now > listed. > > I live on the West Coast, my 3:00 am PDS, is an hour behind New Mexico > and 3 hours behind the East Coast. > > SO WHEN ARE WE STARTING and from what part of the country?
