Guest guest
Hi. As I have posted before, I had been looking for a kundalini yoga class on Long Island, NY. Thanks to all who gave me the links; however, the closest ones (that actually exist) are in New York City, which is 35 miles away. I have been fortunate to find a very nice studio in NYC and I have gone to one workshop there; however, it is too far and too expensive (the traveling, not the classes) to go to on a regular basis. Only once or twice a month would be practical. Meanwhile, I am looking for DVDs to learn from and develop a practice that I can do at home. There are many on the website and I am not sure which ones would be helpful Has anyone viewed these kudalini DVDs? Which ones would you recommend for someone who has been practicing hatha yoga for five years, but is new to kundalini yoga? Thank you for your help. Sat Nam Fiona. Guest guest
Hi Fiona, If you look up Kundalini Yoga East on the internet and call them they can refer you to a wonderful studio in the Long Beach area that offers incredible Kundalini classes. I cannot remember the name of the yogi who taught Ashtanga for many years before taking the KY training but he has amazing energy and presence. I live the Gurmukh video titled Kundalini Yoga for a wonderful home practice. Good Luck Jane Bentley fionaabfab wrote: Hi. Guest guest
I also like the Maya Fiennes yoga video Kundalini to Detox and Destress. She explains basic concepts and benefits of exercise and it is easy to follow.
