Guest guest
Hi all, I'm a mom of 3 and grandmom of 3, 48 yrs young living in the Pacific NW. Hoping that beginning a practice of Kundalini Yoga will allow me to relieve some of the stresses in life right now. Looking to make this a lifelong practice. Guest guest
Hi to you My name is Ellen and I practice dowsing and with that came across Kundalini Yoga. I can say for myself, being 58 and in menopause, that doing yoga keeps me from having to take any more natural hormones. (Have never used a dr. for that). I've tested myself for only needing to do the yoga twice a week, for now, and so far so good. Although sleep is a REAL issue with me. And no, lack of hormones are not the cause. Just thought I'd share that with you. Right now, am using Maya Fiennes DVD. If you have a better one, let me know. Guest guest
It will do just that. Some advice- Stick to one kriya or meditation. Do it everyday even if just for the minimum times. Don´t miss a day. -ie. Do Sat kriya minmum time 3mins. Beginning feels very good, after cleaning begins at times doesn´t feel so good. Keep practicing through the cleaning or storms that your ego makes because it resists changes and you will grow as a person. On days of your period pump stomach very lightly if specified. Listen to your body. 1000 days of one practice will bring greater results than switching to different kriyas. Like digging for water if you stick to the same hole eventually you´ll find water if you dig deep enough. The first signs of cycles of resistence seem very difficult after it gets easier. KY has enriched my life greatly. Good luck- Chris madrid wildheart059 <wildheart059 wrote: Hi all, I'm a mom of 3 and grandmom of 3, 48 yrs young living in the Pacific NW. Guest guest
Sat Nam! =) I've found KY to be beyond believable, and in that fact alone a perfect trick to find the whole. If you know what I mean by this, you're well on your way. I know life gets hard and stress is intense (Ex-Addict Speaking from experience) so all we can do is breath deep, keep our self healthy and happy inside, and keep going through all the struggles. KY worked best for me out of the other meditations I tried because it combined what I was already studying (light essence within and about us) with powerful yoga to deliver a mental clarity and serenity that I never found on any drugs. Life is a lot less fun if I don't do my daily practice.
