Guest guest
Hello my name is Bruce and I am very new to Kundalini yoga. I have a Most wonderful guru. Her name is Laurie and she gives so much of herself. She is very nurturing. She will celebrate her birthday on the 27 of Sept and I was thinking of buying her a mala and a pouch. Would this be an appropriate gift. Does anyone know of a store in the Boston -Portsmouth Nh area. I would buy one on line from one of the sites that support kundalini yoga but will not have time before the 27th. I was also wondering how the second name for someone is derived? By that I mean the ? Hindi-Sanskrit? names that people have other than their own birth name. Is there a name that means one who nurtures and gives of them selfs? Guest guest
Hi Bruce Greetings from Minnesota! Regarding buying Mala and a puch as gift for your Guru Laurie, is indeed a great idea. You can try in Boston, if there is any Office of " Hare Ram Hare Krishna " or ISCON. They sell Mala and other things related to meditation practice. Check it on the internet about the address for ISCON organisation. Or go to any indian grocery store and look for mala there. Please convey my regards to your Guru for her Lucky Birthday on Sept 27th. I am new to my Kundalini practice and i am also looking for some one who can teach me on one on one basis. I do my Hatha Yoga every day to keep myself fit. I practice Homeopathic Medicines here in Minnesota. Please feel free to ask for any help regarding your health. Good luck with your search of Mala for your Guru. All the best! with best Regards Kumar Saihgal vksaihgal - unkasnuff Kundaliniyoga Thursday, September 20, 2007 1:25 PM Kundalini Yoga buying a mala for my instructor's birthday and how are names chosen?
