Improper opening of the Kundalini Energy

I'm interested in any information on how to heal an improper opening

of the kundalini force. Specifically, what would the presence of the

serpent Nechushtan, either symbolically or actually, in the

etheric/astral body indicate and what would be the proper direction

for this image/being to circulate or move throughout the body.
