Guest guest
Michael: Physical disability is not a limitation, it is an opportunity to experience more with your subtle body. What you cannot do physically because of structural damage from birth or from an accident (perhaps someone has a missing a palate or a missing limb), can be substituted (and anyone can do this as long as breathing is still possible) with the experience of the posture as if you were doing it perfectly, as if your body had no disability. To do this choose any posture, lay on your back or sit on a chair or in easy pose on the floor. Close your eyes. Do the proper mantra and breath work as directed. And imagine that your body is in the posture described. But don't just imagine it. Start feeling it as if you were in it. This is not so easy, so choose a simple posture first. And allow Guru Ram Das to help you experience the full effect of the posture. Let it happen so the posture gives your body an experience you have never had before. let it happen, don't force it. It becomes a meditation, a special one which activates your 9th body, the subtle body. Enjoy! Awtar Singh Rochester, NY
