Bound Lotus- with modifications

Despite having mild cerebral palsy. i´ve been practicing the bound lotus

modification at night just sitting indian style on the bed and bending forward

as far as i can. This really stretches my stiff hips and groin area. I do this

for 31mins. I hope to get to half lotus but I´m taking my time. This in addition

to my morning practice of 20mins. sat kriya and 20mins layout and 22mins

Sodarshan Chakra Kriya. Bound lotus has made me give up control in situations

before where I wanted to control. My soul feels a real relief and peace even

with the modification and at work I´m ease with myself and others. Check out

www.boundlotus.com don´t be intimidated by the posture. Start out by stretching

hamstrings and do butterflys for the groin then try bound lotus indian style

coming out this pose do it very slowly. I ´d suggest buying the manual. Even

with a disability, there´s a meditation or a pranayam out there for you that
