Guest guest
I am a Level I Reiki practioner and will be attuned to Level II on October 13th. Awakening the Reiki energy (as of the beginning of July) is leading me to make many changes in my life - including becoming vegetarian in July and vegan as of September. In my searches I came to the KY site. Is KY compatible with Reiki? Janet

Guest guest
Hello Janet I'm a Reiki master/teacher. I admit I've been remiss in practicing my kundalini lately, but when I was practicing daily I found that while doing the kundalini breathwork and mantras my Reiki would kick on really hard. It definitely got the energy flowing, I think they support each other very well. The other day I went for a hike along the river, sat down to rest and did some sat nam breathing. Again my Reiki came on very strongly. As I sat here typing this it came on again! Teresa del Giudice, CH P.O. Guest guest
They are very much compatible! I am a Reiki Master, have been for several years, and also practice Kundalini Yoga. You will find many things in common with both practices and they cover a wide variety of healing for others as well as self-healing. For yourself, you could do cleansing sets of Kundalini Yoga before your attunement so that you are the clearest possible channel for the Reiki. You'll find the symbols you learn in Reiki II combine beautifully with the Sunshine Song and sometimes even with the mantras. The mudras are ever more powerful when you get your hands going with Reiki beforehand and they are great for keeping your head clear, your heart chakra strong and your intuition going. Congratulations on both, I think you'll be quite pleased with the way they work together. Guest guest
Also remember Kundalini Yoga has it's own healing practice Sat Nam Rayasan GURU Dev teaches world wide and often comes to locations that once were ashram sites or are currently ashram sites Or if you invite him! Sat Nam Rasayan® is a healing art that is based on consciousness that has the capacity to become transcendent, to modify the environment. We don't use tools, we use consciousness. Sat Nam Rasayan® is a very simple system. It is based on the quality of the human consciousness that allows it to become transcendent. Transcendent means that just through your awareness, you can produce an effect in an event, in an object. We make our own consciousness stable. We recognize there is a space we call the Sacred Space. We relate with that specific space and then by moving our awareness, we modify the relation, and we modify the event in some way. Guest guest
Jennifer, Thanks so much for the advice. I have a vacation coming up following my Level II attunement and I will now be doing some studying of KY during my vacation. I am getting ready to order some books. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Janet! My name is Devmurti Singh and I am a Kundalini Yoga Teacher and I a Reki Master. I would say that the two practices are COMPLIMENTARY. Although traditional Reiki does not incorporate the chakra system,it does use a similar syststem. There is Earth Ki(energy) which is similar to the lower triangle (1st, 2nd & 3rd earthly chakras). When stimulated this energy provides a strong grounded foundation for your Reiki practice. The Heaven Ki(energy)is similar to the Upper chakras (5th, 6th & 7th etherial chakras). A powerful sense of intuition and guidance essential for healers is developed here. Finally the Heat Ki (energy), is similar to the Heat Chakra. As Reki healers/chanels, we must be forgiving and compassionate. The Heart Ki is developed when the Earth & Heaven Ki are in balance. Because Kundalini Yoga focuses on balancing the chakras, it will definitely support any Reiki that you do. Likewise, You'll probably experience the reverse as well. If you are ever in Pasadena, look me up at The Awareness Center. http://www.awarenesscenteryoga.org/ Kundaliniyoga , " Janet " <DreamOn145 wrote: > > I am a Level I Reiki practioner and will be attuned to Level II on > October 13th.
