Mouth and Teeth

Sat Nam,

I am wondering about the energetic connection with mouth and teeth and

unresolved or resolving issues. I have recently found myself in an

unconscious habit of forming a sort of vacuum in my mouth by slightly

sucking the back of my tongue toward my throat. This is affecting and

slightly irritating the inside of my mouth, gums and teeth. In

addition, I had a house guest recently to whom I had loaned money over

ten years ago. I believe he has been in the position to have repaid

the loan for quite some time and I just gathered the courage to ask him

if he would consider repayment. I had planned to ask him while he was

visiting and the day prior, I woke with a terrible tooth ache and was

told by a dentist that I would need a root canal. I did ask and he was

agreeable to repaying the loan. Several days and some antibiotics

later, the pain is nearly gone. I am wondering if the tooth ache is

related to the difficulty asking for the money or more generally asking

for my needs to be fulfilled as well as the significance of creating

vacuum in my mouth.

I will add here that I have recently, within the last year, made major

life changes including shifting toward making teaching of kundalini

yoga and assisting others along their healing paths. There have been

times where I have been in emotional/spiritual/mental turmoil, perhaps

needed help or guidance but have really relied on my sadhana and

process of prayer and surrender to move through those periods.

Maybe I should chant more frequently??????

Thank you in advance for feedback and the sharing of wisdom.
