Guest guest
Hi Awtar, Thanks so much for taking out the time to respond so thoroughly to my post. Appreciate what you shared and how in the situation, your mind got at first caught in the drama and then you were able to stand back mentally and not take it personally. Think this is key. For some reason at times the mind seems able to do that and then at other times gets totally engaged, I think it has something to do with the vibration I am in at that moment. In my spiritual study they say that kindness is giving positive for negative -- that seems to me what you did with the woman you worked with. What a wonderful way to communicate -- first you looked to understand her positive intentions behind what seemed negative, I read about this somewhere recently, but what a great example! Then you showed compassion to her by helping her to feel positive with you again...how great and beautiful. Can I work with you! LOL : )))) In my situation I think there is like a " thought-energy " from past injustices that were done to me that were a lot. It comes up and I feel very negative. There has to be a way for me to rise above that energy so I can feel forgiveness and love. Think that fear of survival is underneath it all. After I posted on how great I was doing, another bout of the misery came up. In my study they say that there is a law of rhythm that our mental states fall under it also, just like in the physical realm how rivers, oceans the moon etc. all has a tide, the mind and it's emotions etc. all have a tide too.. Anyway, i realize that only something higher can overcome something lower, when I am taken over by the negative, there will be no way to overcome it. Dr. David Hawkins in " Transcending The Levels of Consciousness " talks about the different between the two part of us -- spiritual=power vs. carnal=force. Only having more spiritual power in terms of energy and my energy field -- will enable me to overcome the negative carnal thoughts and energy field when that comes up in me. Recently I met someone that had a Kundalini awakening, it was spontaneous. Their energy was so amazing, so strong, so full of love, it has only been them (in my search of 9 years) that could take away that negative, when it was there inside me, just by being in their presence. That is why I am now looking to build that spiritual energy within in any way possible. Thanks again for responding to my email! If you have any other suggestions as to building the spiritual energy -- please let me know. Best wishes! : ) Christine
Guest guest
> > Can I work with you! LOL : )))) > Dear Christine: Sure we can work together! I do spiritual guidance by phone when appropriate. What you are describing is very normal and yes I am certain it has to do with past life stuff. Even in my example it had to do with past life stuff. All the thoughts that come, the interpretations... they are rehashing of previous experiences that are no longer true... The trick is to come to see: what I am thinking is not what is actually happening. And the beauty of it is there is no therapy, no analysis, no processing to do! Just noticing and breathing and accepting. Are you doing kundalini yoga regularly? Do it if only to know what it feels like to go through something difficult and to keep up and breathe through it. Strategy: Don't expect it'll be fixed instantly! Just watch yourself live and observe without judging yourself. Like a tennis student who keeps missing a ball at the same time in responding to the strategy of her opponent, she notices, she notices and yet she keeps missing... and at some point she forgets her mind and her body takes over and she returns the ball beautifully. That's the process of integration. You have no control over how long it'll take. Other point: You are already perfect so anything you are trying to fix about yourself is an aspect that has nothing to do with you to start with. It is therefore a waste of time. I have done this many years on myself. I know! LOL So in difficult times just stop arguing with others and with yourself. At first simply practice just stopping the drama and breathe and if you are with someone, let them know you'll get back to them but you need some time alone. Find any excuse to find yourself alone so you can breathe and step out of the drama by reminding yourself: " I am responding to something in me that is not mine, I am tangled up with something in me I thought was mine and it is not. " Then ask yourself: " Who am I then? Who am I if this part of me I am arguing with is not me? " And only expect that who you truly are is something perfect... Anything else is something you have accepted about yourself but it is time to think about it as not-yours anymore. Breathe through the whole experience. That is the reason you practice yoga in the classroom or at home, so in moments of difficulty you remember you can breathe through it. That's Life Yoga!
