Guest guest
Dear Guru Rattana, thank you very much for sharing in the forum about the practices you recommend for working on the Love / relationship issues! When you state in your posts that the task of the soul is to connect with the neutral mind or male polarity of divinity, it sounds really understandable. But I better ask if I´m understanding right. I´m tempted to think of the Buddhist tantric practices (some will interprete here that I´m referring to the sexual part of these practices but no, I´m not) according to which the yogini cultivates a loving relationship with a deity of (eventually). Anyways, being a deity, the deity assembles both polarities, male and female within, and these can be related to by putting an emphasis on symbolic objects that the deity holds. When you say we may establish first a stable relationship with the male polarity of divinity, are you referring to such a " personal " relationship with the divine? Or how else should we go about it? The " conventional " Christian approach would be prayer in abundance? You seemed to hint at that the goal would be to feel the love that the divine has with each of us. To me it sounded even as if it was a question of becoming aware of " appealing to the divine " , very much as it would happen in a human relationship, with the difference that the appeal would be thorough, all encompassing and stable; something that can be build on with full trust. Thus, once a person engages with the divine in such a personal, deep love relationship, that can only grow and would certainly never cease, the person is building the best foundation for any love that she can send out later to other beings. Thank you again for your immense assistance! I´m aware this might be nothing new to many in the forum but I´d better clarify these few details just to be sure about it. Thank you. Have a good week everybody. Alice PS: I was especially glad about your sharing about the practices you recommend. It seems a bit long for an add but I´ll try to do as well the exercise you indicate: * Navel and Elimination in Transitions to a Heart Centered World p. 48-9 and between every exercise we took time to FEEL, ALLOW, INTEGRATE AND LOVE our emotional feelings in our body. Guest guest
Dear Alice, RE working on the Love / relationship issues! When you state in your posts that the task of the soul is to connect with the neutral mind or male polarity of divinity, it sounds really understandable. But I better ask if I´m understanding right. * Understanding is good. But experience is what we are after. * that all sounds good, but it is a verbal representation that doesn't always get us very far experientially. When you say we may establish first a stable relationship with the male polarity of divinity, are you referring to such a " personal " relationship with the divine? * I am referring to a personal, nonverbal experience of the divine or Infinite. Or how else should we go about it? * Refer to my free on-line lesson on Surrender to the Zone. Find neutral, open, space, peace, stability, or whatever you experience when you close your eyes, inside your head and meditate on that until you have a deep relationships with IT. This is a life time task. the goal would be to feel the love that the divine has with each of us. * that will happen. To me it sounded even as if it was a question of becoming aware of " appealing to the divine " , * Another way to experience 'appeal' is devotion and love. This is different than the mental prayers of 'please give me.' very much as it would happen in a human relationship, with the difference that the appeal would be thorough, all encompassing and stable; something that can be build on with full trust. * Trust happens as we realize that IT will always be there for us. Thus, once a person engages with the divine in such a personal, deep love relationship, that can only grow and would certainly never cease, * Yes. This is a good explanation. the person is building the best foundation for any love that she can send out later to other beings. * Yes and you will exude this love and attract from it. Thank you again for your immense assistance! * You are welcome. I´m aware this might be nothing new to many in the forum but I´d better clarify these few details just to be sure about it. * OK. Now you can be sure. The next step is to go inside and find an experience. Cultivate it. Love it. Be with it and let it be with you. Make this experience your lover. It is a very deep personal relationship. It takes time, every day, but it grows like a beautiful flower. Blessings, Guru Rattana :+)
