Guest guest
Hi John and all, It's funny that this issue is coming up on the boards right now -- my DH is also struggling with sleep apnea, and has struggled with it for a long time. He is finally going for the testing again (he went a long time ago, and just didn't follow through) next weekend. Can't imagine that someone would reject someone over the sleep apnea, (although one thing that is clear to me, is that -- it is not snoring -- more like someone gasping for air, after an interval of not being able to breath). I haven't slept in the same room with my DH but am lately, some nights we sleep apart since it does wake me up and keep me up some nights...but...I cannot imagine leaving a relationship over that issue. Finding someone you can really talk to -- deeply -- is not easy, I'm not going to let go over what I share with DH over the way he sleeps!!! You will find someone who finds your presence and company so wonderful -- when you are awake, that they will find a way to accept the sleep issue as part of the rest of the package that comes along with YOU! Good luck! : ) Christine
