Guest guest
Dear Guru Rattana, dear Atwar, sat nam all, ever since we spoke about cultivating a personal dialogue with the divine/ neutral mind meditation and how it relates with soul mate stories, I´ve been slowly experiencing some shifts of insight and being able to being more outgoing emotionally. Thank you to Rattana and Atwar in particular for sharing your poems along the way! I´ve copied some parts of these and am reviewing them sometimes because they resonate with my feelings and help me look a quite a few steps ahead. Please, Guru Rattana, keep me posted for further advice about working with the neutral mind (the male polarity of Divinity) as well as the emotional body (the female side) re: the exercises you recommend in your courses for this. ((others: these are postings with the title " workshop notes " in the archives)). The discussion about addictions, which seemingly would not be a topic that should call my attention, has beautifully opened a new process. The explanation of that " empty space " within us makes me feel different now about my past search, my failures and vain attempts to find fulfillment. Suddenly I grasp the reason for addiction and other " vices " such as procrastination, which is my case, that hold us back from getting in touch with our true Self. For a long time now I wanted to write you on NMB and your message yesterday came just when I wanted to compose a detailed discussion about my issues with Capricorn/ Saturn as well as Pisces which is my ascendent (that I blame for many of my turmoils). I can´t fully articulate my astonishment about how precise your analysis has turned out for me. How relieving it has been for me to see that past difficulties have a distinct correlate with astrological lessons we need to go through. I do see a maturation process with the Capricorn (my Sun sign) on the horizon and a potential to finally bring myself to a fulfillment, with the strength of Saturn. Unfortunately I´m really feeling very slow with moving forward in integrating what I understand and bringing the changes down into my system. And I surely would welcome a discussion here about the Capricorn/ Saturn etc. issues though what I would probably most need is to just clearly and once for all decide (very hard for me) on a few KY exercises and stick to them on a daily basis. Even so, I´ve noticed some improvement already. Excuse me that I don´t go into more details on your last two NMB letters here... but please know that they had a very strong impact on me and have pushed me to a new edge. It´s time to get ready to fly but I´m still hesitant about the direction or better, the moment to jump Well, thank you very much everybody for your continuous contributions. I´m feel very connected with the process of the group members and blessed to be part of this striving for the light. I hope you and everyone else is reading my last New Millennium Being on Capricorn and Saturn. The the lessons you are both facing are Saturn Lessons -- long term with gifts of maturity and empowerment if we do the work. I send these out to everyone registered for Kytraining free on-line classes. I can tell who reads them and who practices what I offer at the end of each issue by what you write in your letters. Not many people are actually doing the work I suggest. Back issues are found on www.yogatech. com astro ezine button. This Capricorn Saturn issue will be up the end of this week. In the meantime check out Libra and others. Blessings, Guru Rattana :+)
Guest guest
Dear Alice, Sat Nam! Thank your for your letter, about your progress and the acknowledgments. >ever since we spoke about cultivating a personal dialogue with the divine/ neutral mind meditation and how it relates with soul mate stories, I´ve been slowly experiencing some shifts of insight and being able to being more outgoing emotionally. * When we have some experience to stablize us internally, it is easier to be more in the world and feel safe. We take our feeling of connection and saftely with us. Please, Guru Rattana, keep me posted for further advice about working with the neutral mind (the male polarity of Divinity) as well as the emotional body (the female side) * Every NMB has suggestions at the end. re: the exercises you recommend in your courses for this. ((others: these are postings with the title " workshop notes " in the archives)). * Thanks for mentioning the archive notes. I had forgotten about that reference. The 2007 and 2006 NMBeings on Libra cover the neutral mind. Definitely study them. The discussion about addictions, which seemingly would not be a topic that should call my attention, has beautifully opened a new process. * It is all about connection. We are all addicted to something outside ourselves. We have to turn that capacity to focus inward. The explanation of that " empty space " within us makes me feel different now about my past search, my failures and vain attempts to find fulfillment. Suddenly I grasp the reason for addiction and * You just didn't know how to relate to 'empty space.' Stay with it, don't get scared by it. For a long time now I wanted to write you on NMB and your message yesterday came just when I wanted to compose a detailed discussion about my issues with Capricorn/ Saturn as well as Pisces which is my ascendent (that I blame for many of my turmoils). * Oh yes, Pisces rising is a challenging one. Your goal is to see God everywhere, but in an unconscious state you just get lost in fantacies and space out. Stay very close to what you are doing in physical reality to avoid going 'out there.' I can´t fully articulate my astonishment about how precise your analysis has turned out for me. How relieving it has been for me to see that past difficulties have a distinct correlate with astrological lessons we need to go through. * Isn't it amazing. Astrology furnishes the archetypes to help us understand life. It is all there. I know that astrology is often presented in a way that is just too technical for the average non-astrologer. But those who read my NMB will soon understand the wisdom that can be uncovered. I do see a maturation process with the Capricorn (my Sun sign) on the horizon and a potential to finally bring myself to a fulfillment, with the strength of Saturn. * Great. Hold on to that. Unfortunately I´m really feeling very slow with moving forward in integrating what I understand and bringing the changes down into my system. * Then focus on slowness. Capricorn is an earth sign. Slowness brings us into stillness. We must master stillness to heal and balance our emotional body. Let your emotional body go into stillness, instead of into judgment. And I surely would welcome a discussion here about the Capricorn/ Saturn etc. issues though what I would probably most need is to just clearly and once for all decide (very hard for me) on a few KY exercises and stick to them on a daily basis. * Yes that is the answer -- practice and look, listen and feel inside your skin. Could you commit to 2 exercises a day and 4 minutes of paying attention? Start with what you can commit to. How about 5 minutes every day? Excuse me that I don´t go into more details on your last two NMB letters here... but please know that they had a very strong impact on me and have pushed me to a new edge. * Awesome. That is my intention. Something happens when you read these and just let them move into you. I go through a long process to prepare these so that they communicate an energy to the reader. It´s time to get ready to fly but I´m still hesitant about the direction or better, the moment to jump * Then how about relaxing exactly where you are and go deep into the present moment? Pick the method that works for you. Earth signs ususally don't jump like fire signs. Blessings to all, Guru Rattana :+)
Guest guest
Dear Guru Rattana, and all, Sat Nam! * When we have some experience to stablize us internally, it is easier to be more in the world and feel safe. We take our feeling of connection and saftely with us. Right. I´m in this process now, though I knew for years that it´s all about the being in the " here and now " . The strange thing is that sometimes when I think I do have the inner security and that I´m " here " and very alive, others still perceive me as very " Piscis " - sleepy-dreamy, aloof, not here. It means that a double effort is needed in order to obtain a result that would be perceivable by the outer world, too. * It is all about connection. We are all addicted to something outside ourselves. We have to turn that capacity to focus inward. The addiction to affection and acknowledgement. If we were used to receive negative attention, and tend to recreate situations to continue to receive it, it is really an addiction that strives for punishment instead of joy. * You just didn't know how to relate to 'empty space.' Stay with it, don't get scared by it. I´m trying to relate to it, in the early mornings, as a preparation for the day. Seeing beauty in others is something quite easy for me. It is another step further to perceive within oneself the beauty and its source, the Divine. It brings much inner peace to hold to it, even for a few moments. * Oh yes, Pisces rising is a challenging one. Your goal is to see God everywhere, but in an unconscious state you just get lost in fantacies and space out. Stay very close to what you are doing in physical reality to avoid going 'out there.' I haven´t been well centered for a long time. My concentration, which used to be my strength, has vanished. With tatrak I´m trying to recover it. But sometimes it is all a matter of an overwhelming emotion that takes away all my strength. For example, when I´m finally with a book that I´d like to read and write about, my mind gets blocked for weeks. I just don´t manage to get done what I really wanted to do. Evidently, a lot of tension arises from this circumstance. I´m kind of all the time unhappy about myself, while everybody around seems to succeed with ease. * Isn't it amazing. Astrology furnishes the archetypes to help us understand life. It is all there. I know that astrology is often presented in a way that is just too technical for the average non-astrologer. But those who read my NMB will soon understand the wisdom that can be uncovered. I´m really enjoying very much each of your astrology letters. I wished I could be more Aquario in some things and perhaps find the good side of Piscis. So far I find Piscis extremely difficult. I´d be interested in stones to accompany the process. Of course, on internet there is a lot of information but it can be confusing. Are you studying herbs and healing stones as related to astrology, too? * Then focus on slowness. Capricorn is an earth sign. Slowness brings us into stillness. We must master stillness to heal and balance our emotional body. Let your emotional body go into stillness, instead of into judgment. Frankly, I´d need a daily quick fix for the emotional body and against energy leaks. My slowness has become embarrassing. (such as turning in home work late, the inability to respect deadlines etc.) Slowless might be good for meditation in order to find the point of stillness, but in our rush hour of modern lives it is socially inacceptable. I´m feeling embarrassed already that I haven´t found a way to deal with procrastination and lack of energy. Nor finding the cause for it. It is not at all how I used to work like (under a stronger Capricorn influence). * Yes that is the answer -- practice and look, listen and feel inside your skin. Could you commit to 2 exercises a day and 4 minutes of paying attention? Start with what you can commit to. How about 5 minutes every day? I´ve managed to overcome insomnia. The little KY-practice that I´m doing now has helped me to have more energy and be a (little) more centered: Going to bed at 23.30 now, results in a very good sleep and a calmer mind. At 5.00 am is when I usually wake up now. Without any alarm clock. Then I do some KY exercise and the tuning into the neutral space. I´m not able to hold the energy up throughout but usually end up returning to bed for an additional nap. I know it will be ideal without it. * Then how about relaxing exactly where you are and go deep into the present moment? Pick the method that works for you. Earth signs ususally don't jump like fire signs. Right. Until very recently, I used to be acompanied by a subliminal tension that used to be an obstacle to any clear thought. I could only manage well my life throughout this time because I´ve had a better time during which I had prepared well. The lack of concentration is a fundamental obstacle. It makes it difficult to handle simple situations, such as taking a decision, evaluating a situation, remembering important resolves. Again, thank you for your spiritual support.
