Guest guest
Sat nam! I read Guru Rattana's post about dividing her brain into two boxes: the no box, and the box that produces good feeling. Just wanted to thank you for that information. I had never thought about things in this way. I definitely fell into the category of being willing to suffer feeling bad. I tried the approach with every choice that came up yesterday and the results were quite astounding! I quit smoking in November and have had some trouble staying on the wagon. Every time I had the urge to smoke I put it in the NO box and as soon as I did that the urge passed. Wow!!! Now when I go to do something/anything I check which box it falls into and if it doesn't fall into the " it makes me feel good and is a positive action for me " box, it goes straight into the NO box and I immediately move on. It has worked wonders with things such as procrastination, keeping my relationship harmonious, the list goes on. All of that in 24 hours. Thank you for sharing such a simple yet powerful tool! Guest guest
Dear Marie, Thank you so much for sharing your 24 hour results with the NO/FEEL GOOD box choice. I am absolutely delighted. I hope some others will try this and let us know your results. It is interesting, if the brain in not fed something, it moves on to the next. They problem is we tease our brain with maybe this and maybe that. So it doesn't know what to do. And finally it gets too much input for something and can't resist. We can train monkeys. We can train dogs. We can train our own brains. Sat Nam, Guru Rattana :+) - Marie Hansen Kundaliniyoga Thursday, January 31, 2008 1:57 PM Kundalini Yoga Dividing the brain into two boxes Sat nam!
