Guest guest
/* Please note, I added this as a response to someone elses email a few days ago and felt it deserved it's own topic. Sorry for the double post */ Sat Nam, On the topic of formulae that work, would this be considered a proper exercise pattern? I'm not sure what is over exertion, but I haven't experienced any negative effects: Mornings (5am - 6ish) Tune In Sitali Pranayam (13 breath, relax ~30sec to a min, 13 breath) 30 sec~1 min break Opening the Heart Chakra (2m,2m,2m,2m) 30s~1m break The Garbage Collector? (pumping navel in 16 sets of three, mantra Wahe Guru on each pump) *note* I'll rapidly pump Wa, He, guru 16 times, then take 2 or three deep breaths, exhale and go again... repeating for 3 minutes. Is this proper? Sat Kriya (3m, 6min break) Prosperity Meditation with Jupiter (index) finger (15m) Day Starts Evenings (starting between 10p and 12a and lasting for an hour or more) Shower Tune In Sitali (13 breaths, 30s~1m break, 13 breaths) rest 30s~1m Nabhi Kriya (3m,2m,5m,4m,1mX4,2m,1m,meditate for 15m) Any Missed from the Morning due to irregular sleep cycle (unavoidable) Sa Ta Na Ma 31m (Or 11 depending on how tired I am) Bed I always wondered about this pattern, and if i'm doing something wrong by taking so many deep breaths when " garbage collecting " . Also, if having an irregular sleep pattern is bad, and making up the kriyas and mantras at night is a waste of time. I always try to start and end the day with sitali pranayam even if I have to do it while driving the car. Is this a waste? Like I said, no negative effects yet... on week 2 for some, week 1 for some, week 3 of nabhi and week 4 of kirtin Thanks!!! Blessings on all!
