Guest guest
sat nam-- i recently received my copy of Sadhana Guidelines--such a great investment!--and have begun to practice Surya Kriya every morning. However, I've been exhausted for the past three days! Is the kriya not supposed to be an every day kriya, or is it the kind of thing that i should just keep on doing and my system will adjust? also, i have a question about the connection between the lymph system and the pranic body. my numerology reading tells me that practicing " kriya for the lymph system " will help work on the pranic body, and i was just wondering why, and what other effects the kriya might have. is it because the lymph circulates around the body and helps prana flow more easily? thanks, y'all, and shalom! Also look at your diet. Best to increase fresh fruits and vegetables and scale back or eliminate for a time, meats and sugars. Then go drink some more water. The energies that come through in kundalini yoga affect all ten bodies and in my personal experience one is sometimes exhausted for no good reason. I recommend keeping up with the kriya every day because with dedicated practice, especially doing the same kriya or meditation, a degree of mastery will come and there will be breakthrough that will surprise you. If you can manage to go through it daily, even when you're feeling like it's just going through the motions, you'll benefit greatly. My teacher once said to me (re: Tershula Kriya)... " do it every day, even if only for eleven minutes, because the meditation has it's ego too. " I never asked him what that meant. It's a mind bender, but I never needed to. Something about that makes sense to me. These sacred Kriyas were created with great precision in ancient times by saints and sages and their power is immense. Somehow the fact that this kriya exists as an energetic entity somewhere out beyond time and space and it is somehow pleased when you show up with dedication to practice; thus it brings you blessings, is quite a pleasing thought to me.
