Guest guest
Sat Nam, When doing KY kriyas that don't call for the Breath of Fire (I've been doing some of the exercises for maintaining a flexible spine)what should we be doing with our breath? * Long deep breathing. My tendency is to use a forcibly audible breath, but it seems to be making the postures more energy draining... * Sounds like you could be draining instead of feeling your kidneys with your breath. Monitor your breath by putting your hands on you back above the waste. On the inhale this part of your back should expand. Then you will be feeding prana to your kidneys. * And do the breath in a relaxed way so as to not cause unnecessary stress. We can get a lot of good stimulation with a relaxed and deep breath. Pay attention to nurture yourself, not beat yourself up. Blessings, Guru Rattana :+)
