Guest guest
I recently started yoga, in hopes of improving my lower back and connecting with inner self. I purchased two Kundalini yoga DVD's, and have been using them. Is it advisable to do both Kundalini and other types of yoga, or should I stick with a single one & focus on it? Also, should the goal for a beginner be to get to a point where a video isn't needed? Should videos just be viewed as " training wheels " ? Guest guest
The videos are definitely a great place to start. I would recommend finding a Kundalini Yoga class that you like, as the group energy is very powerful in Kundalini Yoga—or any yoga. The most important thing about anything that you do is how it makes you feel. If the videos make you feel good—keep using them. If they're getting old, then maybe try something else. This is an expanding universe, so don't expect an end-all/be-all answer to anything. Just continue to do what works for your personally because you are unique, and only you know what makes you feel good.
