Guest guest
I have read 5 Tibetan rites book and found their " kriya " quite similar to Kundalini Yoda. Do anybody have experience with Tibetan yoga, that sounds very similar to Kundalini one? Do anybody can share experience with Five Tibetan Rites? Guest guest
Sat Nam, The 5 Tibetans are a great way to warm up before a kundalini yoga Set. They are also an exercise routine in their own right. They were actually given by a Tibetan monk. The exercises are a great way to build energy the same way that Kundalini yoga does. The exercises are done 21 times for maximum affect. Why 21 times, I really don't know. Perhaps it says so in the book? Love and light . Guest guest
Regarding the " Five Tibetans, " I notice that the book, The Divine Doctor, by Gurunam has the 5 Tibetans exercises towards the end of the book, so I'm thinking of doing the series. His books generally focus on kundalini yoga with Kabbalism. I'll have to see if he writes about the exercises in addition to showing how to do them. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Ilya, Judging from my own experience, I think it is a good idea to do one or the other. I mixed the both and things did not work out for the best. They are very powerful. If you want to do the FTs do them on different days. There is a video called Kundalini Yoga for Beginners and Beyond by Ravi Sing and Ana Brett that has the Five Tibetans in the second part. It is good to have a video for the Five Tibetans, it is much easyer to follow the instruction. I hope this helps.
