Guest guest
I have felt the exact feelings you have experienced and at just about the same time ( early in the a.m. while still in bed ).. my happenings happened back in 1997 when I was studying Energetic Medecine, ( accupressure ) these studies were done with a very developped practitioner.. I recall his soft voice having such a distinct reaction on my whole being.. that specific energetic reaction that I experienced at that time of the day back then, made me think that is was nothing more than some kind of an emotional energy effect.. But after searching and more searching I did come to an understanding that is was a Kundalini reaction " vive la difference " .. don't fear what you experienced, it truly is a Blessing and you should hope and pray that it will happen again and again.. the kundalini awakening is the purest form of any and all Energy .. God Bless.. and Oh!.. know.. that the Kundalini Energy is NOT an energy that you manipulate, ( Like Reiki ).. it has it's own very distinct intelligence, after all, it is the energy, that created you.. humbly dev Kundalini Surge??? A few years ago in the midst of sleeping early in the a.m. I was awakened by an electrical surge. It started at the tip of my toes and went throughout my body..ending at the very top of my head. I have asked questions of what it was and was told that it was the Kundalini Surge. I accept that. At that time, I have never meditated at all. My question is this: What was the purpose of the surge to me, and why did it happen? It has not happened again to me since, and I'm not quite sure if I want it to happen again. It scared me. It did not hurt me in any way. Yet, I'm drawn to find out if it was a good or bad thing. Is there anyone who can give me some answers and possibly has experienced the same thing? Should I want to experience it again? Thank you. (New to this site and now getting ready to practice the art of yoga). .
Guest guest
Sat Nam, everyone, I had the same experience 20 some years ago, where I had awoken at 3 AM and was restless, had a difficult time going back to sleep. At about 3:15 AM, I was conscious, but my body had gone to sleep. I was sleeping in a fetal position, my body was experiencing a paralyzed sensation. I consciously knew that I could move, but I knew if I did, whatever I was going to experience would end. I ended up having a dual out-of-body experience. I was conscious of the physical, but I was also connected to the non-physical. I could hear those in spirit and they were linking me up to energy to show me another lifetime. I have had a few conscious out-of-body experiences since then and know nothing bad can happen to me, as we are all pure energy and are always connected. Guest guest
Sat nam, This is quite strange. I read the posts yesterday about the surge. Then, in the early morning hours, when I was probably lightly sleeping as I had had trouble falling asleep, it appears that this happened to me. There was the electrical vibration as two of you describe and the out-of-body experience as Padmani Kaur describes. While I do feel that it happened (I certainly felt it physically and continue to feel different physically), I nevertheless wonder if I could have just had a wish-fulfillment dream! I had read the messages fairly quickly after taking a nap and moved on with things I had to do, without thinking of those messages later in the evening. Interestingly, on the 19th I finished doing 17 days of the AKAL mantra for the passing of my father. The meditation created strong pulsing sensations at the crown chakra. Before going to bed last night, I meditated for about 45 minutes, part of which was the Sa Re Sa Sa meditation for the full moon. I had learned it in a workshop I took last weekend and chose to do it again with the full moon. I don't think this has happened to me before, although sometimes I awake with strange, very strong sensations at the base of the spine. When this happened, there was some fear but I let go of it.
