Guest guest
Hi, Everyone! I'm Annalisa, and I'm new to both Kundalini Yoga (up to Lesson Three, some DVD's on the way) and the group. I took a baby leap and tried a set I found on the 3HO site over the past two days, and while I love it (and how alert yet relaxed it helps me become), I am astounded at how hungry I am very shortly thereafter. This is not a bad thing, just surprising! I usually don't feel like eating for a while after any kind of exercise. Having been curious about Kundalini Yoga for a while, I'm really glad to have finally let myself try it, and am looking forward to learning more. Peace, Annalisa
Guest guest
Hi Annalisa, I also am new to this list and to Kundalini Yoga. I have been doing KY for about 6 weeks now and I love it. I live in SW Missouri and there aren't any teachers in my area so I rely on DVD's (Gurumukh's and a couple of Ravi and Ana DVD's) and the internet to learn about KY. I think it's really fun and very interesting in the influence that it has over life. I feel real change happening in my life and it is very refreshing. What DVD's did you order? Guest guest
Hi, Melissa - nice to meet you! I ordered Ravi and Ana's beginner and " fat free " DVD's - - the " fat free " was offered with the beginner one as a set and I figured " Why not? " I've also ordered Gurmukh's. Which of Ravi and Ana's do you have? There are no instructors that I've been able to find in my area, either, but I'm kind of liking having it be home-based right now. (My husband and I are " between areas " - in east TN at the moment but moving to GA.) I, too, really enjoy it and already have found that I have a....trying to find the words.....more amped yet peaceful outlook and approach to my life. It's hard to describe; that's the best way I could come up with. Peace, Annalisa Kundaliniyoga , " sail2617 " <letitgrow wrote: > > Hi Annalisa, > I also am new to this list and to Kundalini Yoga. Guest guest
I have the same DVD's you have ordered. I'm sure you will enjoy them. I did Gurmukh's for about 5 weeks, and then got the other two and have been doing Fat Free Yoga for about 2 weeks now. Anyway, I enjoy having my own home practice too and it really feels right to me. I am happy to have met someone else who's getting into KY and loving it. Guest guest
That's cool you've got those same DVD's! I'm really looking forward to them arriving - - the poor mail carrier probably thinks I'm stalking him. I think the thing I enjoy most about practicing at home really sunk in today - I did the spinal stretch set as part of lesson six, and it was wonderful to be able to just sit and take in the effects of each exercise on all levels. I think I'm getting more out of it by being able to just savor the moment(s) in between exercises at my own pace. I'm glad to have met someone who's getting into and really enjoying it as well.
