Guest guest
hello, i am relatively new to kundalini and am also struggling with addiction recovery. i am doing very well changing my behaviors by sticking to a mostly vegetarian diet and doing an hour of yoga every day along with other exercise. i have lost a lot of weight and feel very good about the positive changes i'm making. but i am worried that i could lapse back into old habits easily, and so i'm wondering if anyone has ideas about using kundalini to support addiction recovery. specific practices that could give me support when i'm feeling weak or down? is it mostly navel work? thanks so much for any light you can shed on this EXTREMELY important issue for me. Guest guest
there is a specific kriya for addiction. It is called meditation for addictions. You can google it, i'm sure you will find it. It's effects are sometimes amazing. After doing the meditation, I feel it is really hard for me to indulge in bad habits, and the meditation makes me feel good. You can buy the meditation as medicine book in the internet which contains a few good kriyas for addictions. You can also try EFT, emotional freedom technique, that specifically ends an addictions within few days. hope it helps you. Guest guest
Keep in mind that the addiction attacks (withdrawals) are very, very short: only 2 minutes long; hence if you have activities planned for those times you should be out of the woods soon. The more you beat the withdrawals, the less frequent they become until they disappear altogether, only to reappear after long periods of sobriety, but for very short spans and you should be able to have complete dominion over these w-drawals. Do steam baths and saunas while detoxing. Pray. Do your KY everyday and you'll be alright. Good luck.
