Hello--sat nam, Yogis,

Will you please offer your feedback on how summer solstice might improve me

as a k-yoga teacher? Even with scholarship, the total expenses (travel

from VT, shuttle, a little spending money, etc.) are going to run close to

a thousand dollars. I want to put my time and money into events that will

better me as a teacher and allow me to bring something back to my yogic

community. What might take place at the teachers' conference? I have a

partial scholarship and must register for SS within the next week to secure

my financial aid. Any feedback you would like to share to help me make

this decision is welcome.

Thank You,

Sarab Kaur

Burlington, VT

Kundaliniyoga

Re: Kundalini Yoga Instant Yoga : Releive Negative Energy

Dear Akash,

Sat Nam!

There is a whole section of techniques in Relax and Renew (available on

www.yogatech.com) that take only 3-11 minutes. I find 4 part breath very

powerful for a quick shift of energy. Triangle pose works wonders too, but

might not be too good in public.

>I wish to know if there are yoga techniques which are short and can be

used

>to releive any kind of stress or negative thoughts instantly especially at

>work and in Offices etc.

* Combined with a daily sadana, these techniques are more powerful. We

have

to set our vibration before we leave the house. Then our quick techniques

are a matter of re-setting, coming back to center and calming down.

used at any time to refocus and infuse the frshness of the morning daylight

into us....when we are down after getting a firing from the Boss :)

* Might have to do more than one for this situation.

I have heard observing one's own breathing pattern can help ....but anyone

please elaborate if any jap should be accompnied along with the excercise.

* Definitely use all of the techniques all at once. That is the power of

Kundalini yoga.

Blessings,

Guru Rattana :+)
