Guest guest
I am a somewhat advanced KY practitioner. As of now I have been doing Sodarshan for about 180 days, 7 min, though I have engaged in addictive behavior, like drinking but not quite. I am also doing sat kriya 5-7 min, meditation for childhood trauma, meditation for addiction, 1 minute breath, and nabhi kriya. I have done sodarshan non-stop since day 1, but all the other meditations I have been on and off. Just recently, I have continued in my practice when I found some discomfort in the area starting just above my belly button, and just below the ribcage. It is some kind of like pain, not like stomache ache, but more like a pain as if that area of the body was like full of air(but I seldom get gas). I have ruled out stomache ache, but am not sure whether it is kidney pain(I don't know how kidney pain feels, because I never had any). Any suggestions are welcome. Guest guest
Sat nam, As soon as read your message, I immediately thought about this being the area of your 2nd chakra, which is the seat of your emotions. You mentioned that you were doing a meditation for childhood trauma, and another for addiction. Perhaps your addictions are based in your emotional center (i.e. you become addicted to something to deaden a certain emotion)? Just a few thoughts...
