Hello to All,

 

 

I am an old member of this group but never Took part in any discussion

and never tried Kundalini yoga and also don't have much knowledge

about it Nor How to do it,it's benifit and it's effect ?

 

Can any one Please tell me about it ?

I will be greatfull If any one Help me out ?

 

Can anyone tell me about the breath of fire

What is it and how to do it and benefit of doing it

Sat Nam Akhil Pai,

 

Kundalini Yoga is known as The Yoga of Awareness and is very

powerful. Like all yoga, it gives us the ability to work on the

mind,body and spirit. The difference with Kundalini Yoga,is that it

has all of the tools available for us to use so that it works that

much faster in raising our awareness. This is the awareness of things

that we need to work on in our lives so that we can evolve our souls.

It helps us to deal with issues that can hinder us. And once we start

to free ourselves from these issues, the relationships in our lives

become so much more fulfilling. In fact, all aspects of our lives

become that much more fulfilling.

The tools that I spoke of are Kriyas(exercise sets),Mudras(hand

postures),Pranayam(breath exerices),Bandhas(body locks),Meditation and

Relaxation. The kriyas(there are 8.4 million different ones)all work

on different parts of us.

I really do recommend that you go to a class, even if it's

just to check it out. There are also many books and DVD's that you

can look at.

Breath of Fire is very similar to panting like a dog. The difference

though, is that the mouth is closed and you breathe through the

nostrils. The belly is used like a bellows. On the Inahle, the belly

is expanded, then on the Exhale,the belly is contracted. The breaths

are equal in length with no gaps in between. Start off slowly and

rythmically, and then once you get the hang of it and feel comfortable

with it, you can then start to speed up. The eyes are usually closed

and focused at the Third Eye Point(between the eyebrows).

The benefits of B O F: Very energising and moves the energy around

the body; expands the lung capacity; strengthens the navel chakra;

Increases phsysical endurance; Boosts the immune system; reduces

addictive impuslses for drugs and other bad habits and Releases toxins

from the lungs,blood vessels and other cells in the body. These are

just a few of the benefits. I am cerain that there are others.
