Hello,

I'm looking for ways to fight my compulsive eating habits. Does

anyone have any ideas? I find myself eating when I don't need to. I'm

on a fairly tight vegetarian diet I know how many calories are going

into my body. I just find myself snacking snacking snacking! They're

all healthy snacks, but it's still calories I don't need. And beyond

the actual food is the feeling like I'm always trying to fill myself

up with something, but never quite getting there. And so I need to

eat more.

Thanks.

Alex

Dear Alex,

Make sure you are getting enough protein. If you aren't getting the nutrition

your body needs it will crave sweets and carbos.

Sat Nam!

For this kind of problem I always suggest the book " Kundalini Yoga

Meditation: Techniques Specific for Psychiatric Disorders, Couples Therapy,

and Personal Growth " by David S. Shannahoff-Khalsa. I think that is an

amazing book, simple but direct to the core of the problems (on amazon.com

you can also read the customer reviews).
