Sat Nam Himat Kaur,

Go to the File Archive* and look for the document Rheumatoid Illness.

It's a close look at this autoimmune situation from a Ayurvedic perspective.

Sat Nam Himmat,

Helping a client with RA, it seems to me, would have to be an effort

to get that person to understand *how* they might be conflicted,

frustrated (even angry), with themselves, or at least with their limited

thinking. There is a thought at the root of this illness. That thought

needs to surface.

Yogiji might say to do Sadhana, but not just mechanically going through

the motions. He'd say to REALLY DO it! Get outside of the limitations of

the thinking process and exalt one's whole being and begin to entertain

the limitless possibilities. Counseling and emotional work could be a

huge help, if a person is really ready.

In Gururattan's book 'Transitions.....', there is a set for

" Immunity and Cellular Oxidation " , IIRC. There is a fair amount of

punching to release pent up anger (inner) and grief. I love it for

moving the Blues and getting myself back to Yogic Mind (aka 4th Body,

Neutral Mind or Heart Chakra). This set is fairly aerobic, too.

All the Zest,

Dharam
