A Fabulous Raag Kirtan Class in Espanola! 9/22 to 9/28 - Bhai Kultar Singh

We are very pleased that Bhai Kultar Singh and Jetha will be returning to

Espanola, New

Mexico, in September to offer the first official course of the Bhai Avtar Singh

Ragi Kirtan

Taksal - School of Classical Traditional Sikh Kirtan. This course is open to

beginners as

well as people with more experience -- all levels are welcome and will be

gracefully

accommodated.

With this course, we will be beginning to study the 31 Raags of the Siri Guru

Granth Sahib

- starting at the very beginning with Sri Raag. Our intention is to introduce

three Raags

during the week.

The course will start on Monday morning, September 22nd with Ryazz (vocal

practice in

Raag to open and develop your voice) and ending on Saturday evening, September

28th.

The schedule will be:

• 5:30 am to 7:00 am -- Ryazz

• 10:00 am to 1:00 pm -- Midday class session

• 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm -- Evening class session

 

The cost for the course is $350, including lunch. The evening session only is

$195. Ryazz

only is by donation.

During the week, the Jetha will play Asa di Var one morning and a kirtan program

one

evening.
