Guest guest
Sat Nam I was recently contacted by a man asking for 1:1 tuition in the UK, he claims to be from Cypress and wanted to know what fee I would charge for a 2 hour session, for his son, for 9 weeks. He didnt tell me where he found my details and something just doesnt sit right, my intuition tells me something is wrong. I just wondered if any of you out there had, had anything similar. His name is Austin Clarke and his email is clarkeaustin Blessings from the cosmos Harpreet Kaur
Guest guest
Sat Nam! Something like that happened to me in the past: usually if it is a scam, when you don't give your details to that person (to me they asked about my bank acocunt to pay for some lessons), they stop writing you. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Scam. I have gotten the same email from another location. Good opportunity to trust your intuition. Blessings, Guru Rattana :+)
Guest guest
Sat Nam, It is very similar to a scam that has been happening for a while now. The country, name and gender of the child change, but the purpose, financial gain at the expense of a yoga teacher, is the same. Good that you sensed this and asked. Guest guest
Sat Nam, This is scam that is going around the internet, which works much like the Nigerian scams. The scammer will send you a check or money order for more than you requested. He/She will then ask you to send a check back for the difference, often times a substantial amount. Meanwhile your bank pulls back the funds from your account for the phoney check and you have just lost a sizeable amount of money. Your intuition is working just fine, stick with it! :-) Peace, Akal Dev Kaur Kundaliniyoga , " soulomorphe " <soulomorphe wrote: > > Sat Nam > > I was recently contacted by a man asking for 1:1 tuition in the UK, he claims to be from > Cypress and wanted to know what fee I would charge for a 2 hour session, for his son, for 9 > weeks. Guest guest
There are scams that start like this but I can't remember exactly what they do - sorry. Something to do with paying you a big sum for lots of lessons from abroad but asking you to pay a bank or fax charge but the funds never come. Do watch out!
