Guest guest
Sat Nam! Is playing techno like music on a MAC and Ipod during a Yoga class now a common practice among KY teachers? I have been away from KY for awhile now (5 years) and my only experience then was with one very experienced teacher and oh how I miss him as I moved away. I really miss hearing all of the human voices joining together. .....even Ong Namo dosen't sound/feel right and...I'm sure this is not unusual in what is a new class and new teacher for me but gosh it just sounds so VERY different. Can anyone relate or, is this a common practice now and I need to catch up with the times or just the preferred style of this teacher and perhaps just not mine? No judgement here just making adjustment.... Thank you kindly for listening. Christine
Guest guest
I use a Mac and I/pod all the time in my classes but the class chants Ong Namo without it and sings the Sunshine song together acapella at the end. There is one quasi-techno chant Cd available but we have all been taught in training to play only KRI approved music in class. Many very well known teachers bend that rule frequently. I know many teachers that still play their own guitar at the end which is so sweet. Hope this helps Jane Bentley --- On Thu, 9/11/08, christine <rememberwhoureallyare wrote: christine <rememberwhoureallyare Kundalini Yoga I'm new here and I'm just wondering about MAC/IPods?
