Guest guest
Hi, I take yoga from people who are trained by Gurunam and love the classes, which they call " Naam Yoga. " Sometimes we also have kundalini workshops by outside teachers. I haven't yet met Gurunam, but hope to go into NYC someday for one of the classes or special events. I have a few of Gurunam's books and a couple of his CDs. You can get his CDs and books through www.yogatech.com, this group's sponsor, or perhaps also through the website for this group. I like the way Kaballah interprets one's ruling planets. It really ends up making sense. My extent of understanding Kaballah is through the books and what I might pick up in class. The yoga studio I go to led me to join this group, go through the lessons, and study Kundalini in greater detail through Guru Rattana's books. All of this has helped me deal with a lot of stress I've had in the past year and learn so much more about myself than I thought possible. I also had a car accident last year that injured my neck. This type of yoga is one that is so helpful for my spine and neck. I took a vinyasa class a while back that seemed to traumatize my upper back rather than help, so I'm sticking with what works!
