Guest guest
Hi I'm fairly new to KY yoga. I keep getting this mantra 'Om na tadi hum' going round in my head. Any ideas what it means or what its for? Di

Any ideas what it means or what its for? I think it may be 'Om mane padme hom' Not spelled correctly here. This is ancient sanskrit one of the oldest mantras used in buddhism. Part of its charm may be that it doesn't have a simple literal meaning. I was told you could take it to mean 'The jewel is in the lotus' which might mean the best think you can do is meditate in lotus position. Guest guest
Thank you Keith - it all makes sense now. For me it is the joining of Buddhism and Kundalini through Sanskrit and peace - I'll keep meditating in the lotus position to see if I a can find out more. Guest guest
Hi Di, I am not aware of any mantra in KY which would sound like that. However, there is a beautiful Buddhist mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum -it is one of the most beloved mantras in Tybet, which means " God is within my heart. Liberation takes place in my heart " . Guest guest
Hi Iwona That's beautiful and exactly the way I feel - thank you for taking the time to contact me. For me there is a big link and union between Buddhist philosophy and Kundalini. Many thanks Love and rainbow light Di --- On Mon, 10/6/08, Iwona Kozak <iwona.kozak wrote: Iwona Kozak <iwona.kozak RE: Kundalini Yoga Re: Om Na Tadi Hum Mantra Kundaliniyoga Monday, October 6, 2008, 3:43 AM Hi Di, I am not aware of any mantra in KY which would sound like that.
