Guest guest
Some herbs and other plants like cinnamon contain naturally occuring coumarins. coumaDIN, or warfarin is a drug preparation of synthetic blood thinner. They're not the same. However, someone who is on coumadin therapy may want to limit their intake of foods with naturally occuring coumarins or apparently foods with added coumarins that come from other countries. FDA banned coumarins as a food additive. EU standards are 2mg/kg of foods. Perhaps someone should write a letter to Yogi Tea and ask them.
