Guest guest
Dear Yoga Family: Do you need a light-hearted, fun, spiritual yoga experience? Are you interested in giving the gift of yoga to children? This course is perfect for you! RADIANT CHILD YOGA PROGRAM 1-2 is a certificate training program is for yoga teachers, school teachers, therapists, parents, day-care workers, and others interested in learning to GIVE CHILDREN THE GIFT OF YOGA. This program counts toward public school CEUs, therapy organizations, and also continuing education credit hours for the Yoga Alliance. This program was created by Shakta Kaur Khalsa, famous yoga teacher and author, and former Montessori teacher. She ran a Montessori school in Baltimore, MD, and the program grew out of that school, and now over 10,000 people around the world are trained in the tools and techniques of yoga for children! You will learn how yoga helps kids focus, relax, builds confidence, and integrates both hemispheres of the brain. It is the only non-competitive physical activity many children do, and in that context teaches them self-respect, respect for each other, how to think intuitively and how to relax. The course will include special sections on how to incorporate yoga into the classroom, and how to use yoga to support children with special needs, like Yoga for ADD/ADHD, Autism, DSI and SPD. The course has just been revised, so the manual is expanded and the course tuition includes 2 books, 2 manuals, 2 CDs and a DVD, so you will have all you need when you complete the training to teach for a long time! Could you please share this information with your teachers and any parents who may want to attend, or bring their children to class to experience yoga's benefits? We greatly appreciate your support. 21-23 NOVEMBER, Washington DC at Spiral Flight Yoga, 202.965.1645, info 5-7 DECEMBER, Jacksonville FL at Yoga Ananda Studio, 904.680.7344, info Facilitated by Cristin Tighe of Kids and Yoga!
