Hello, My name is Michael Goodman. I am a life long musician. I first became

acquainted with Kundalini Yoga in the mid 70's. I am pursuing the disipline with

renewed vigor because I've lost touch with my true purpose in this life.

Sat nam, Michael,

Welcome to the list.

I became acquainted with Kundalini Yoga in the '80's and practiced on

and off, til 15 years ago, at which point I practically stopped.

I have started again, and, as you say, " with renewed vigor "

also in my case, " stronger commitment " .

I have recognized and acknowledged that without Kun.Yoga, my life is

stale and not worth living. So I must practice every day. And increase

my commitment.

I am now on my second 40-day commitment, and I enjoy the morning

practice, altho I still wake up every morning and my first thought is

" I don't want to " !

Happily I don't listen to that thought and I hope I never do.

Like you, I am also seeking purpose. Lately, a lot of people in my

life are dying, or being sick, or having great difficulty in their

life. I wonder, " You struggle, you die. What's it all about? "

I don't know, but I know for me the answer is in doing Kundalini Yoga.

Thanks for your post, which made me realize this.

Sat nam,

Kartar Kaur
