Guest guest
I've been married 26 years and felt we were growing apart, not to mention a couple of specific huge problems that cropped up and created ill-will between us (one my fault and one his). Sometimes, instead of chanting with the cd, I just listen to it in the bathtub or while resting after yoga. I have not been too consistent because it is really excruciating, too fast and too long, which is probably an indication of how much it is needed, but then I've been using it for about 2 years off and on. It is so powerful that I could see an obvious change in his attitude after only a few times. My own attitude has mellowed more slowly (I think, anyway). Now I actually believe I'm happily married, something that seemed impossible before all that chanting. It is always on my to-do list; one of these days I'm going to make it for 40 straight! At women's camp, the year I went, quite a few women talked specifically about how it changed the dynamics of their relationships. Snatum Kaur even met her husband while her Mom was chanting So Purkh for her 40 days- and his name was So Purkh! So give it a good, open-minded try and be prepared for the possibility of an amazing result! You might find it hard to believe, but I am a huge sceptic by nature. Guest guest
Sat nam, please could you explain more fully how you will engage in the practice for the 40 days? As with all the practices that include mantras, I am confused if practicioners here usually chant together with a cd. I´ve just looked up the text of " so purkh " and would hope there is a short mantra version that could be chanted, something that would continue to go through your mind during the day... The text that I´ve seen would be hard for me to sing finding any benefit from it and reading out the translation doesn´t seem to be the right practice either. Your comment would be helpful. Perhaps you could also mention which cd you are using. Many thanks! ________________________________ De: ramneetfl <ross815 Para: Kundaliniyoga Enviado: lunes, 17 de noviembre, 2008 3:13:30 Asunto: Kundalini Yoga Re: experiences with so purkh I've been married 26 years and felt we were growing apart, not to mention a couple of specific huge problems that cropped up and created ill-will between us (one my fault and one his).
