Guest guest
Hello everybody, I have just recently joined this group. I have no experience with Kundalini yoga. So in addition to introducing myself, I have a couple basic questions. First, is Kundalini the 'right' yoga for me? I am a 49 year old male, healthy but needing to limber and loosen up my body. Primarily I need to unblock my chakras, most specifically the second. My creativity over the years has diminished, I have a great desire to restore that energy and insight. I have dabbled in what I would call 'traditional' yoga and while I appreciated the stretching aspect, I feel that type of yoga wasn't doing anything for me regarding my desire to unblock my creative insight. So assuming I am on the right track pursuing knowledge of Kundalini, what can the collective recommend as a starting DVD for me to follow? Thanks so much for reading and helping, Scott
Guest guest
Dear Scott, Welcome to the group. In my opinion you would benefit from Kundalini Yoga. This yoga is very powerful and can open the chakras and inspire creativity. Only you know for sure if it is right for you. I would encourage you to try it out. As far as which DVD, I suggest you go to yogatech.com, and find some basic instruction DVD. I don't know any particular one, perhaps others on here do. Also at that site, you can search for a teacher or class in your area, which is a great advantage.
