Guest guest
Did you try rolling hand towels and placing them behind the knees? Also rubbing arnica on the knees before you begin the Kriya. ________________________________ rasheedaas <rasheedaas Kundaliniyoga Saturday, December 20, 2008 4:10:02 PM Kundalini Yoga Re: re:nabhi kriya- adjustment Sat nam, I am on Day 20 or so of Nabhi. A few years ago I had Lyme disease, and as a momento, from time to time my knee acts up. So now in the exercise D of the Nahbi set, the one right after the 5 min rest, I cannot do it. That knee bend hurts the knee. The other movements ar eno problem. I have tried doing it at a different angle, to no avail. So I skip it. Wonder if anyone is aware of an adaptation for this particular exercise. Do you think I will still get benefit if I omit one exercise? Thanks much. btw, this [below]: " Anger may well up with nabhi kriya when you become stronger and can no longer 'stomach' things you previously tolerated " . This is certainly true for me, and quite uncomfortable, but in the end perhaps it will be for the better.
