Guest guest
Hi, I am new to this group. I have been doing the OCD protocol as prescribed by David Shannahoff-Khalsa. I was just wondering if anybody else here is practicing his techniques as well. I guess it'll help to exchange notes once in a while. Thanks! Guest guest
Yes! I also have been practicing David's techniques, and they are very helpful although challenging. I would love to keep in touch with others about this topic; it would help me a lot to feel I am not alone in this practice. The OCD technique is rather difficult (I still haven't gotten my breathing slower than 48 seconds per breath for any length of time). But the hardest for me is the daily discipline, when so many things (and my compulsions of course ) can come up to interfere with a good sadhana schedule. Anyway, maybe we, and any others out there reading this, can encourage each other. <s> Feel free to e-mail me privately if you like. Thanks so much for getting in touch, and I hope to hear from you again. Take care and have a wonderful happy day, and Merry Christmas if you celebrate, Sat Darshan Kaur :-)
Guest guest
Put your OCD to work for you with your Sadhana practice. If you allow Sadhana to become an obsession it will replace so many negative obsessions in your life! Soon a little OCD placed in a spiritual practice becomes a virtue rather then a problem. Words cannot describe what I am saying- you have to experience it to see what I mean. All love and light to you.
