Guest guest
Hello Pamela that was a wave of energy seeking to open your seventh energy center or chakra. That you went to receive deeksha with out knowing of the Kundalini is surprising. But the rippling is not necessarily a Shaktipat which is what deeksha can turn into. A transference of Kundalini or an activation of it. How do you feel these days? -
Guest guest
I'm feeling great! I've had some things happen in the past few months that in the past I would have fallen apart over but was able to handle things in a very present and accepting position. People I know noticed the difference and kept commenting on how well I was handling things. pamela chrism <> wrote: Hello Pamela that was a wave of energy seeking to open your seventh energy center or chakra. Guest guest
Welcome Pat, Yes Kundalini as a way of keeping humanity in its place is not how i would understand it. Having dreams become the waking state does happen at times but not typically. Nice to read of your experiences and welcome! No stick figures here and the eye that you see is common for those approaching the Kundalini. Is it a " blue " eye? -

Guest guest
Hey Pat, A number of people meet things obe that actually represent things in their lives. (just like in the dreamworld often things have symbolic meanings.) It makes sense on some level that something in your life that troubles you would drain you. A stick figure coming out of your closet and draining you, sounds very much like a 'skeleton in the closet' to me. Following the safeties, going back over your life and forgiving and asking forgiveness for past deeds might clear this issue up (if it is one). Otherwise the next time you start to go Obe and the stick figure comes out of the closet again, pay close attention to what issues or memories may be attached to it. You may be able to work through whatever is draining you! This is just my hunch, so please use your discretion. But like you say we are much more than our physcial bodies, no fear hmm? Peace be with you, and welcome! bradly > I had a stick figure come out of my closet, walk around my bed and bend down to attach > to me to draw energy from me, I popped quite hard back into my body. Guest guest
Hello Pat, nice to read about you! Welcome to the group! I hope you enjoy the love and compassion as I am. Love, katherine Pat <LookinglassAussies Friday, May 18, 2007 7:58:54 PM New to the group Hi, I am interested in learning about Kundalini. I went to the files section and down loaded the information there to start with. That will keep me busy for quite awhile. It is really difficult to decide what to say in a short, introduction. I just had my 60th birthday, I live on 20 acres of forested land in Oregon. I've had a few OBE's, some were glorious, some were not scary at the time, but scary later when I thought about them. For instance, I had a stick figure come out of my closet, walk around my bed and bend down to attach to me to draw energy from me, I popped quite hard back into my body. When I saw the figure I was above my body (I didn't know I was out of my body til I jerked back in), I kept my mind completely quiet - I assumed this thing would go out the wall of my bedroom and away. When it came back to me, I didn't panic until it bent over toward me. After several of these types of experiences, I decided that I didn't want to have anymore OBE's until I learned about what was going on and how to protect myself. I am a little concerned that I may be having energy taken from me and not be aware of it. But besides that, I sometimes talk to the trees, and at times I am energized by something that feels like a response from them. Usually it feels like a loving entity has entered my body, the energy swelling or swirling. Sometimes it feels like it comes up the spine and sometimes it feels like it enters through my head. I also feel almost a buzzing on my head, neck and sometimes when I close my eyes I see an eye. The only other comment I would like to make is that my first encounter with the word Kundalini was in a book by P.D. Ouspensky who was talking about the teachings of Gurdjieff. He says that Kundalini is the power of imagination or fantasy and your dreams take the place of reality and its put here to keep man in their place. So I was put off by it. I can see that you disagree with this. My OBE's have helped me realize that my life in the physical is just a part of me. I know I am much more. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with me. Well, so much for a short introduction. Pat ______________________________\ ____Building a website is a piece of cake. Guest guest
Thank you Katherine, I am enjoying reading about everyone's experiences very much. Some of it is going over my head, such as what is Kryias. But since I am so new, I haven't had time to read the files. Yes, I can feel the love and compassion here. I am glad I found this site. - Pat , Katherine Miller <katsam19 wrote: > > Hello Pat, nice to read about you! Welcome to the group! Guest guest
Welcome Pat. You will be amazed at the people and the stories here. I think that most people are used to thinking of reality as something static that is experienced by everyone. I guess that seeing through this illusion is step one of making spiritual progress. This group will definitely challenge the " normal " 5 sense mindset. :-) Welcome! Blessings to you... Guest guest
Welcome to the group Lara! Sounds like you are having a " normal " experience to me. It's good to hear you are excited about the K! Let the emotions come out so they can be released, you will feel much better. You might find a lot of fluctuation in emotions at the beginning from extreme highs to lows. I try to observe my feelings rather than be in the thick of them, if that makes sense. It helps to not get caught up in the tide. I want people to know how sometimes venturing into things can open up " the unexpected " even though, I'm a firm believer that things always happen by the hand of God and when He wants them to happen no matter what we, as human beings think at that precise moment. Guest guest
Welcome Sanjiv - Like yourself, apart from some haphazard contact with Kundalini fringe groups over many past years, book knowledge was my main Kundalini pathway. But this Group has made such a big difference to me, teaching me that nothing can be as strong and fulfilling as sharing in the life force and wisdom of kindred souls already on the Shakti path. I hope you enjoy the warmth, love and camaraderie, that exists in great abundance here. Look forward to hearing more of your experiences. Love and best wishes - John. ========================================== Sanjiv wrote: Hello Everyone, I am new to the group and wanted to introduce myself. I am in another grinding phase, and its encouraging to look at chrism's website and read the experiences of others to maintain an attitude of thankfullness. Chrism, thanks for the info on your website, I found it very useful. Its also great to read everyones dreams and experiences. Many are very famialir to me, especially the snake dreams ( I both dread and embrace that deadly snake, and more than once in my dreams I have to tried to club it before it bites me...it always survives the clubbing and gets to bite me ). Fundamentally I embrace the process and am thankful for the miracle of trtransformation that is occurring.Warm regards to all of youBruce _______________ Need to know now? Guest guest
Hi Bruce, Welcome, Kundalini can sure be a wild ride can't it? Its great to find company though. Kundalini really is unique and I've found it really helpful to relate to people who have been through or are going through the same issues as us. Guest guest
Sat Nam, I recently joined this group as of New Year. I'm 55 year old female. I have been practicing kundalini yoga for 4 years, but only very regularly for the last 2 1/2. I am so thankful for the beautiful information so generously provided on-line from Guru Rattana. My KY practice has allowed my life to unfold in a graceful and meaningful way. It has greatly helped those close to me, some were in very dire situations. It is life changing, ever and onward, Karen
