My name is Harjodh Kaur and I have been practing Kundalini Yoga for 8 years. I started this form when I was a new mom and was looking to give myself something, to learn to relax and learn a technology that I could later pass on to my son. I moved a few times and found that the studio was too far from my house to have a regular practice. So like so many others I bought the famous DVD with Gurmukh. Upon one of my recent moves I was talking to a nieghbor who informed me she was taking Kundalini Yoga classes....I was thrilled. It took me about three weeks, and the help of the Universe and I found myself enrolling in Kundalini Teacher training. At first I was unsure if I wanted to teach or just do this for myself, but I have decided that teaching is what I am going to do. I have a few clients now, and would really like to grow and share this beautiful science with all that are open. Please email me and share you thoughts, experiences and suggestions on growing my personal and professional practice. I am open to receiving all the information I can get. If you have suggested readings or videos, let me know ( I did see what was on the site). Thank you for creating this forum, it is yet another beautiful blessing. Guest guest
What a great story, Harjodh, Teaching Kundalini Yoga has been a precious gift in my life. You will learn so much about yourself as you serve others as a guide on their journey. I moved to a smallish town in Northern California from the Los Angeles area two years ago and have watched a lovely consistent group of people grow to love Kundalini Yoga. I don't advertise much, a few flyers here and there. Word of mouth, people sharing their experience with others, is building my business for me. A workshop is my next step and then, who knows, maybe multi day retreats???? I wish you great joy and prosperity, Sat Nam, Joan Richards On Saturday, January 3, 2009, at 05:06 PM, Gabrielle Darvassy wrote: > Namaste > Sat Nam > > Greetings to all. Guest guest
Sat Nam! This is my 4th year of teaching so I'm not so expert to give you suggestions but I'd like to share something really important to me, two quotes of Yogi Bhajan: the first one is " Be simple, be straight and do it with a smile " (from " On Teaching Kundalini Yoga " ).....and then..... " Remember, Creator watches over you and Creation is ready to serve you, if you just.be you " (from " Pateince Pays " ) We all are magnificently unique and so I wish you and all (and I wish the same to me!) to find your why to express your light!
