Guest guest
Hi! I recently did something to my left hip that caused an unbalanced. I've been the chiropractor, massage therapist, and physical therapy. The pain returns shortly after leaving. Do you have any recommendations for kriyas for the hips? My entire lower body is tight as can be right now. This has happened once before when I also wanted to move and sell my house. I'm sure there's meaning behind this pain that my body is trying to communicate to me. My Kundalini practice is spotty right now. I no longer have a group that I can meet with on a regular basis, as my work schedule does not coincide with their schedule. My daily practice has improved since my injury. Perhaps I answered my own question, I'm feeling disconnected. I just would really appreciate some guidance. Thank you.
Guest guest
Sat Nam! The book " Slim & Trim - Kundalini Yoga exercises and meditations especially for women " has a kriya (General Maintenance) with an exercise maybe good for you (I'm not a doctor so you can ask to yours first): - Stand with your feet spread slightly, palms down, hands in open venus lock (fingers interlocked with the left little finger farthest away from the body when palms are downward) at level of harmpits. bend forward from hips, bringning hands down toward ground, hands still in venus lock no bend in the legs. Rythm: one second down and one secon up. Time: 52 cycle This perfroms an adjustment of the pelvic region wich is essential for woman I hope this will help you! Guest guest
Sat Nam, I have a similar problem. One leg is a little but shorter than the other and some mild cerebral palsy causing me to limp. I´ve found that doing forward bends with legs stretched wide for about 10 minutes, then some buterrflies putting soles of feet together followed a half-lotus one side for 15mins then half lotus other side leg on top for 15mins leaning forward with head trying to touch in the ground....to be effective. Come slowly out of the postures and go easy on the knees. I´m preparing for bound lotus. After the pressure points in my foot when I walk don´t hurt. -Chris --- On Thu, 1/8/09, tara.havard <tara.havard wrote: tara.havard <tara.havard Kundalini Yoga Unbalanced left hip Kundaliniyoga Thursday, January 8, 2009, 8:15 PM Hi!
