Guest guest Posted January 9, 2009 Report Share Posted January 9, 2009 Hello, I'm having an issue with energy build up around my second chakra that I am having trouble circulating for some reason. This has been happening for the last 10 days, and is getting stronger and stronger. I had been doing Hatha yoga for almost 20 years, but am new two Kundalini yoga - I've been practicing only two weeks. I practice 45 minutes of spinal flexibility exercises everyday, as well as 20 minutes pranayama followed by longer meditation. As I read the Sat Kriya can help re-circulate this energy up, I've been doing 3- minute sessions twice a day (which is about as much as I can do at once) for the last week for this purpose. It does seem to help move the energy in the immediate sense, but then it comes back, more frequently and with greater pressure now. It's beginning to cause me insomnia and nervousness. Guest guest Posted January 11, 2009 Report Share Posted January 11, 2009 In answer to my own problem... I contacted my Ayurvedic physician, who gave me a very simple exercise. Lie down on my back, knees up, feet one foot apart. Right hand on my navel, left hand on my lower belly. Close eyes, breath into navel area 10-15 times. Miraculously worked!
