Guest guest
Sat nam, I would very much appreciate it if someone could recommend a kriya for deep seated insecurities and feelings of worthlessness. Hanspreet Kaur
Guest guest
If you´ve done some navel work ie- nabhi kriya for a couple of months try mahan gyan mudra found online works of 1st and 4 chakras. The position of the arms opens the heart center to create self esteem and creativity. Keep arms above the shoulders the whole time for 11mins or fold elbows up to field goal position 90 degree and with open palms this variation can be done for 31mins. (Taken from yoga for business success the kriya for overcoming fear) Also balancing nervous and immune systems, and navel power and pruification from transitions to a heart centered world do the same thing essentially. As a survivor of sexual abuse this kriya rebuilt my self- esteem and gave me the strength to keep going for three years. best not mix with other kriyas, at leat i´ve found in my experience. doing sat kriya before i found weakened the effects of this precious kriya. --- On Mon, 2/9/09, vansavages <vansavages wrote: vansavages <vansavages Kundalini Yoga insecurity Kundaliniyoga Monday, February 9, 2009, 2:06 PM Sat nam, I would very much appreciate it if someone could recommend a kriya for deep seated insecurities and feelings of worthlessness. Guest guest
Sat Nam Hanpreet Kaur How can we feel insecure and worthless when we are all an extension of God! The Divinity in us all in our Soul. We just have to remember. As you walk down the street realize that in every human being there is an extension of your own Soul. Sometimes it is not enough to know it if we can not internalize it so it goes beyond the mind and reminds us of who we are. A very simple, but powerful meditation is ¨God and Me, Me and God Are One¨ 1. Just sit on easy pose or in a chair (it may not matter how you sit). 2. Bring your palms together in Prayer Pose in front of the Heart Center (this is where compassion generates and the Thymus gland behind the heart is, where the Soul contacted the body in the incarnation process). 3. Keep the thumbs against the heart center, arms parallel to the floor so a beautiful triangle is form from your higher centers to the heart center. 4. Eyes closed. 5. Now chant ¨God and me, me and God are one.¨ Chant it in monotone as you feel your entire being vibrating in unisone with the Divine. 6. Three minutes. And as many times during the day as you want. Because now it is you who is driving, not your mind, not your ego. It is You! Yogi Bhajan said: " The core of unhappiness lies when the self does not recognize the self; and the core of happiness is when the self recognizes the self. " Remember G.O.D., Generating, Organizing, Destroying. " Why do we tell you to remember God? What is there that you should remember or not remember? What are you going to gain? The moment a man realizes that potentially he is infinite and he is only limited in activity, he can be happy. If something goes wrong, he should not give in. He knows that he can regenerate, recapture, and redo. If God is with you, then you are great. You can take it. " Yogi Bhajan.
