Sat Nam I am 80 days into a Healing meditation with the siri Gaitri

mantra. I have just started the Davinci Kria which uses the same

mantra. Am I able to do the Davinci meditaion instead of the healing

and continue the count (I'm hoping to get to at least 120 days!)in

effect I'm just changing the mudra, or, does it need to be treated as a

completely seperate meditation & as such be started from day one? I'd

appreciate any guidance with this.

Much love & joy...

Dear Julie,

* Sat Nam! There are different answers to this question, so why don't you pick

the answer that is most comfortable for you.

I am 80 days into a Healing meditation with the siri Gaitri

mantra.

* the mudra with the hands flat balances the brain and gives you the power to

heal with your hands and long distance.

I have just started the Davinci Kria which uses the same mantra.

* I don't know the mudra for this meditation. But it will have a different

effect. The mantra will continue to impart its magic.

Am I able to do the Davinci meditaion instead of the healing and continue the

count (I'm hoping to get to at least 120 days!)

* You can certainly continue counting the number of days you are doing the

mantra.

effect I'm just changing the mudra, or, does it need to be treated as a

completely seperate meditation & as such be started from day one?

* I am not sure that the counting is the most important thing. Why not just

continue and watch the results.

* I might recommend doing the healing meditation for 90 days since 90 days is

one of the designated times for an additional result.

* If you really get into this mantra and either meditation, continue. Or if you

are drawn to something else do that.

The important thing is to do something everyday and train yourself to be awake

and conscious.

I hope you and everyone else have read my most recent New Millenium Being

newsletter on Pisces. I give some guidance for waking up and staying awake.

Blessings,

Guru Rattana :+)

Dear Julie,

Sat Nam!

Can you tell us about the Davinci Kria and where to find it? I have never heard

of it before.

And you are most welcome. Let us know what you experience.

Blessings,

I am currently training with SKY (level 1 teacher training) and this kriya was

shown to us during the one of our training sessions. I have set out the

meditation below but don't have anything specific that I can send to you or any

reference point to direct you to. One of my fellow students did post a message

with some additional details &  I've copied it below. Hope this helps!

Da Vinci Kriya

Feminine

Stand arms straight out at heart level parallel to the ground

Take 8 breathes through the mouth (feel yourself stretch with each breath)

Then say the mantra, Ra ma da sa sa say so hung

Masculine

Stand straight arms straight above your head palms touching

Take 4 breathes through the mouth (feel yourself stretch with each breath)

Then say the mantra, Ra ma da sa sa say so hung

To finish

Bring your arms down slowly

See & feel yourself surrounded in light

Feel majestic...feel the energy

(copy of email)

These are the times that Gurunam gave us, it is important to keep to the

specific ratios.

3/5

4/6

5/8

6/10

7/11

8/13

9/14

10/16

The feminine/positive posture is the first figure and therefore less and

the male/negative is the last and longer. If you want to bring healing

you need to do 4/6 or more and you build it up slowly.

The other teachings Gurunam gave are:-

For feminine posture the hands are palms up if you wish to receive

otherwise the palms face forward with the fingers spread and tense not

sure what the significance of this is, sorry. Obviously the legs are

wide and arms stretch, stretch and stretch some more at shoulder level.

For male posture root lock should be applied for entire time and the

knees and elbows should be very slightly bent. I only picked up the

bend of the knees when I was looking through my notes on Wednesday and

it certainly takes a lot of pressure off the back. You just want a very

tiny bend. The heels and palms should be together.

Gurunam explains that the spine is the magnet of the human body and when

we are out of balance the molecules are all over the place. The Star of

David, Da Vinci or Pentagram works on the positive and negative

polarities and helps bring everything back into balance.

With much love & Joy....

Please forgive me for responding in hopes that the person who posted

yesterday (I think) will see this. I deleted the post,

unfortunately. She had experienced KY releasing energy about 2

months ago and has had lack of energy since then. It sounds as

though she had been practicing KY on her own for about 2 years. I

implore that person to find a good certified KY guide/instructor and

let her/him teach her whatever she needs, so her chakras and energy

will be in harmony.
