In meditation, we gain an extra sensory form of perception known as " mind " , the

six sense which allows ourselves to see different phenomenon. Once we see this

light, it is up to our own understandings to figure out what it means to us. We

must over come our ignorance and obtain what it is that our spirit is trying to

tell us. That light is a reflection of the true light that shines in your soul.

The goal of meditation is to fill yourself with this divine light. But in the

beginning, the light is dark, and possibly even resembles colors. Through our

perceptions of the world our vision becomes absorbed in its colors, and we

forget the color of the white light within ourselves. Once we turn to that we

can transcend our temporal modes of perception and realize who we really are.
