Kundalini Cleansing leaves me tired

Friends,

I got initiated into Kundalini Yoga by receiving Shaktipat from a

Guru who belongs to an ancient lineage. I got the initiation two

years ago and have been doing simple asanas and meditation.

Since the beginning there have been presence of kundalini

cleansing in my body. But, the past three months, it has been

intense. There have been a lot of activity at all chakras except the

heart and Thyroid chakras. So, I have been going through a lot of

emotional and physical challenges.

Last week I believe the kundalini reached my Crown chakra. I

experienced something of an volcanic eruption at the root chakra and

a very warm and intense energy raised through my spine (actually

through most of my back) and it reached the Crown chakra. Since

then, the cleansing reduced drastically.

But all this cleansing wiped away all my energy I believe, because

more cleansing leaves me more tired. I am tired all the time and my

legs are very weak. Sometimes, I am not even able to walk (even

after having nine hours of sleep). My feet and hands become so cold.

Sometimes my feet become moist. I have to drive to work for close to

an hour and by the end of the day, I am completely exhausted and

couldn't do anything. It is very hard to reach my Guru as she is

busy. So, I am requesting you for some help.

Is my assumption that Kundalini Cleansing consumes my energy

correct? How can I regain my energy? I heard that energy could leak

through opened chakras. If it is so, how can find and correct it?

Please help me.

Thank you.
