Good morning...

I am not only new here but also new to KY. I have no experience at all.

Just started my first breathing exercises.

I have two artificial hips, so sitting on the ground with my knees to

the side is a bit hard. I know that also goes for some exercises, but

for some not ;-)

I am male, 58 years of age, married for 37 years. We have two grown

up sons. The eldest living abroad and the youngest nearby. With whom I

play our favourite sport almost every week.

I found this list while surfing on the the internet, looking for

information about KY.

Hi Henk,

If you are talking about sitting on the ground, both feet to the right (or

left) if you put a double-folded blanket (or two) under your left

hip/buttock (when feet to the right) that should help. Also, when seated on

heels or with left foot beside your left hip and right foot beside your

right hip, try putting one or two double-folded blankets between your legs

so you are sitting on them like " sitting on a horse " -- or you can try

putting a couple single-fold blankets under your shins -- takes the weight

off your knees and your ankles.

blanket folding -- fold in half once, then fold the other way in 1/2, then

again to make the " double fold " so it is like a short flat tube.

Hi,

Thanks for trying to help me with the sitting.

I will give your different suggestions a try.

At the moment I am sitting on some sort of stool/footstool/tabouret/ with a

pillow

on it with my feet flat on the ground.

Maybe I have to look for some sort of (little) bench to help me with this. Found

something on the internet, but I do not expect to find something like

this in my home town.

I know I will find a solution ;-)
