Guest guest
Sat Nam! Death, the final stage of growth, as Dr. Kübler-Ross called it, is but a transition through our evolution. Not to be touched lightly since very much has to be ineternalized by our Minds, if we wish to understand it, or experience it consciously. We must approach it as " our highest initiatinon " . The whole area of Humanology needs to be at least understood, or be familiarized with, to begin to grasp this experience. Yogi Bhajan said, " The basic purpose of life is just to be human and to deal with life as a human being " . A good understanding ot the Ten Bodies may help us intellectualize the process of dying from the separation of the Physical Body, the detachment of the Subtle Body and the way through the Electromagnetic Field and the Ethers. Perhaps this could be a good starting point. We must check our intentions to experience such a profound process. " The goal is to be liberated while alive and not wait until death. " As we do our Kriyas and come into Savasana, or Corpse Pose, we have an opportunity to experience the dissasociation, to conscisously " die " . That is why we reiterate this is not a Pose to fall asleep but to check with ourselves. There is a wonderful book titled " Dying into live " by Guru Terath Kaur Khalsa PhD, that I consider a jewel and a " must read " . There you will find a wealth of information, meditations and exercises. Although my Positive Mind is urging me to describe a meditation here, my Negative Mind is warning me that perhaps no, and the Neutral Mind is just guiding you to the reference so you walk the path towards what you are looking for. Guest guest
Sat Nam, When somebody is passing away it is recommended that " Akal " is chanted five or more times (up to 11 minutes of meditation with Akal). Akal means Undying and this reflects the kundulini yoga philosophy about death: we are undying souls, part of a wonderful Universe in continuous existence and transformation. Akal! Guest guest
Sat Nam Namtiori, This is a very unsulay request. You can try the Womb meditation, it is designed to experience sensory deprivation and being in the womb. 1. You can site in easy pose or lye down on your back. 2. Place your thumbs in your ears. This is done to cut out the sound. 3. Place your index fingers on your eyes to keep them shut. This is done to lose your site. 4. Place your middle fingers on both nostrils. You need to be able to breath, your breath should be very lite. Breath in through your nostrils. 5. Your ring and middle finger are used to keep your mouth shut. Your focus should be on being in darkness like the womb and listen to your heart beat. Just be still.
